- Reiki Courses and Reiki Masters
- If you are looking for Reiki courses in the classsical Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho System Of Natural Healing I would recommend, from my experience at this point in time, that you take the following factors into consideration:
- Check that the Reiki Master has the correct lineage.
- Make sure the Reiki Master gives themselves daily hands-on self treatment and offers Reiki to others.
- Examine their training. It should take years.
- Look for a teacher who has presence, someone who is even tempered, professional, articulate and non-judgemental.
- Choose a teacher who is reputable and make sure you have a good rapport with them as you may decide to continue from the First Degree into Second Degree or Mastership.
- First Degree: This first course should involve four initiations and take place over two or more days.
- Second Degree: This course should be held as a completely separate module from the First Degree.
- Second Degree should involve three initiations and also take place over a period of two or more days.
- Fee: Low fees can indicate a lack of experience or integrity. The Reiki Alliance is an international organisation of classically trained Reiki teachers.
